◆ Roofing built for Sanford

Roofs Made for Historic Sanford

Sanford wears its history on its rooflines. After the great fire of 1887, downtown was rebuilt in brick, and the nineteenth-century Victorian homes that rose around it still stand in the Residential and Georgetown historic districts. Those steep, complex, century-old roofs need a roofer who respects both the architecture and the city’s preservation rules.

Add the lakefront humidity off Lake Monroe, the summer storms, and the towering oaks that shade and shed onto these roofs, and even a well-built Sanford roof works hard. Out toward the RiverWalk and the newer subdivisions, the job shifts to aging shingle and full replacements.

We have repaired, replaced, and inspected Seminole County roofs for more than thirty-five years, and we know Sanford’s mix better than most, from a delicate repair on a historic home to a modern reroof. Every job is permitted through Seminole County.

Max stopped by our business to provide a roof replacement quote not even 24 hours after we called for help. He was super personable and knowledgeable, we look forward to working with him during this process

Always a pleasant experience dealing with Max at Rhino. He was there at my initial estimate for my new roof and he was very helpful once again for my estimate for my soffit panel replacement. Highly recommend Rhino and Max was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Thanks again.

This was a flat roof repair over a sunroom. Rhino responded to my call within a couple of days. The first inspection identified the location of the leak. The tech came the next day & made the repair. We haven’t had a heavy rain since but I have no doubt that if there is a problem, they will be back - free of charge - to fix it. Rhino is a professional company with honest & skilled people.

Strongly recommend - I've had a significant leak in my attic for a while now. I've had multiple roof contractors come out to look at it, and none have been able to diagnose it. Not only did Max spot and explain the issue to me, but he also helped with several other issues that he noticed while doing his inspection.

Had my roof redone a year or so ago due to damage. Went through insurance, but chose a questionable company that cut corners. Roof started to leak. Rhino came out and was able to trouble shoot the issue and attempted to save me money overall. Excellent customer service and the workmanship is stellar as well.

Sanford Areas We Serve

Roofing & Roof Cleaning Across Windermere

From the brick streets of Historic Downtown Sanford to the lakefront homes along Lake Monroe and the gated communities off Markham Woods, every part of Sanford asks something different of a roof. Here’s how we approach each one.

📍Historic Downtown Sanford

The older homes around Sanford’s historic district often carry aging tile, metal, or wood-look roofing that needs careful color and profile matching to keep their character while sealing out leaks. We repair and re-roof these homes with materials built to last.

📍Lake Monroe & Riverfront Homes

Homes along Lake Monroe take the brunt of wind and wind-driven rain coming off the water. We reinforce edges and flashing, upgrade underlayment, and seal vulnerable penetrations so storm season doesn’t find a way in.

📍Lake Forest & Buckingham Estates

These gated communities come with strict HOA specs on shingle color and profile. We install architectural shingles that meet community guidelines the first time and coordinate directly with your HOA so approvals never slow the job down.

📍Loch Arbor & Mayfair

Mature oak canopy over these established streets means constant debris, moss, and algae streaking on the shingles below. We fit gutter guards, clear valleys, and recommend algae-resistant shingles so minor buildup never turns into an expensive repair.

📍Markham Woods & Sylvan Lake

Larger lots and custom homes along the Markham Woods corridor often feature tile or metal roofs that need specialized care. We match profiles and repair without disturbing surrounding pieces, keeping these premium roofs performing for decades.

📍Sanford Commercial & SR 46 Corridor

Retail, office, and industrial buildings along the SR 46 corridor rely on flat and low-slope systems. We install and maintain TPO and modified-bitumen roofing built for Florida heat, with fast leak response that keeps your business open.
